This home was designed to bring in natural sunlight through strategically placed windows. It is a beautiful custom design by OM studio, built with a post and beam material package from Lindal Cedar homes.

The owner wanted a bright space into which she could retreat after a hard day’s work in the city at a nearby university. The large wall of glass in the living room looks out onto a protected wooded greenspace. Her request was that the upper-level loft provide the feel of a treehouse with windows on both sides. The connection to the woods through the windows, paired with the clear cedar wood ceilings and natural Douglas fir beams, accomplishes this goal and creates a whimsical space for her home office.

Sustainability was important to the owner, thus the home is Earth Craft certified for the efforts made and the construction methods used.
